Our Wines
Some diners will be amazed at the simplicity of the wine list, but the choice becomes obvious when you remember that "only the best" is the restaurant's philosophy with its wine, as well as with its food.
It's no coincidence that Frà Alfonso, a wine connoisseur and authoritative figure at Sestiere di Castello, is a Hostaria regular. The house offers some of the best wines made in the Venice region, ideal for an "ombreta" or over a meal.
Served cool by the carafe, you never have to worry about the after effects. Other dry wines come from the top wine-producing areas in Collio and Friuli, famous for their fruity but restrained bouquets.
There's no champagne on the Ae Do Porte menu but some excellent Prosecco, selected from the best the Conegliano Veneto area has to offer, the homeland of this noble sparkling wine.
